What is people counting?

People counting - also called visitor counting or footfall counting - means automatically keeping track, in real time, of the people entering and leaving a space: a venue, a store, a gym, an office or an entire festival. Instead of someone at the door with a clicker or a clipboard, the service keeps the tally itself, at every entrance, without breaks and without miscounts.

The result is one live number - how many people are inside right now - plus the statistics behind it: entries, exits, peak hours, trends. With Lenzia, all of it is completely anonymous: no one is identified, and no images or recordings are kept.

What is a people counting system?
A service that automatically counts people entering and leaving a space and shows you in real time how many are inside. Lenzia offers it as a complete service: counting, statistics and a simple dashboard - with nothing for you to manage.
Is people counting legal? What about GDPR?
Yes. Lenzia only produces anonymous numbers: no images or recordings are kept and no one is identified. The service is built to be GDPR-friendly, with anonymity guaranteed by design, not by promises.
How accurate is the counting?
Far more accurate than manual counting, which loses track exactly when it's busiest - which is exactly when it matters. We verify accuracy in your own space, before the service goes live.
Does it work with several entrances or several sites?
Yes. We count every entrance and the figures roll up into one number per space. If you run several locations, you see them all on a single board.
How much does a people counting system cost?
With Lenzia: a monthly subscription of 250 RON (or 210 RON/month billed annually) plus a one-time setup from 5,700 RON, depending on your number of entrances. Installation work is contracted separately, with a partner installer. All prices exclude VAT. See the full details on the pricing page.
Will it recognise my customers or my staff?
No. No one is ever identified. A person becomes an anonymous count in your statistics - that's all Lenzia keeps.
